A lightweight plastic base plate and NABLA Evolution components make up the Nabla Rail Fastening System, an affordable tram and light rail fastening system. Depending on the needs of the project, the Nabla Rail Fastening System's high performance and ease of use can be used with both top-down and bottom-up construction techniques. An air evacuation system made up of air holes and channels allows the base plate to be inserted into fresh concrete or dry mix with efficiency.
The Nabla Rail Fastening System's structural elements include Nabla clips, insulators, studs, special spring washers, hexagonal nuts, and flat washers. The French TGV high-speed rail system makes extensive use of the Nabla Rail Fastening System. By carefully tightening the nut, the Nabla Clip produces the clamping force.

Components Of Nabla Rail Fastening System

Screw Spike
A screw spike, rail screw (or lag bolt) is a large (~6 in or 152 mm length, slightly under 1 in or 25 mm) metal screw used to fix a tie plate or fasten rail. Screw spikes are fixed into a hole bored in the sleeper.
Tie Plate
A tie plate, baseplate or sole plate is a steel plate used on rail tracks between flanged T rail and the crossties. The tie plate increases bearing area and holds the rail to correct gauge. They are fastened to wooden ties by means of spikes or bolts through holes in the plate.
Rail Pad
A Rail Pad is a resilient insulating material located between the rail foot and the sleeper, or baseplate surface.
Rail Clip
A Spring Clip is a metal fastener made of spring steel which clamps the rail foot to the sleeper or baseplate.

Features Of Nabla Rail Fastener System
The GS anchors of the NABLA Tram Fastening System provide excellent load transfer to concrete slabs with tensile strengths of 90kN and above.
The fastening system is suitable for a wide range of rail applications. Adjust the Nabla fastening system to offer a wide range of stiffnesses (from 35 MN/m to 150 MN/m) and better than -10dB vibration attenuation.
Add insulation and rely on the built-in protection of the Nabla fastening system. The system comes with covers that protect against concrete contamination, and the covers are compatible with grass, pavement, concrete and asphalt surfaces. They enhance insulation and protect the fastening system from concrete contamination.
The plastic base plate is partially embedded in the concrete to withstand lateral and longitudinal loads. It is designed to evacuate trapped air and water, thus ensuring a solid fill of concrete under the rail seat.
The Nabla fastening system provides electrical insulation above 20 K ohms (EN13146-5:2012) to protect against stray currents.
