Panxing High-Speed Railway Opens, Boosting Efficient Rail Operations With Advanced Track Components

Nov 08, 2025|

On November 28 at 9:38 a.m., train G5356 departed from Xingyi South Station and arrived at Guiyang North Station in less than two hours, marking the official opening of the Guizhou Panxing High-Speed Railway (Panxing HSR). This milestone completes high-speed rail coverage for all prefecture-level cities in Guizhou, creating a 1–2 hour high-speed rail travel circle between Guiyang and eight provincial city centers.

news-1-1

Spanning approximately 99 kilometers, the Panxing HSR traverses the karst topography of the Yungui Plateau, earning its nickname as a "geological museum." With a bridge-and-tunnel ratio of nearly 91%, the line includes Panzhou, Baotian, and Xingyi South stations. Since the start of construction in December 2021, engineers have overcome challenges such as karst caves, high gas zones, and fractured fault areas, completing key projects including the Tuole Tunnel, Baotian Tunnel, and Haizihe No.1 Rotary Bridge. Throughout construction, strict standards for safety, quality, environmental protection, and progress were maintained, highlighting the technical strength of China's high-speed rail sector.

news-1-1

The opening of Panxing HSR brings Guizhou's total railway mileage to 4,354 kilometers, with 1,906 kilometers of high-speed rail, and 17 outbound railway corridors connecting the province to the national rail network. This expansion not only reinforces Guizhou's role as a southwestern transportation hub but also underscores the critical importance of reliable railway track components-including railway fastening systems, elastic rail clips, rail fasteners, and other rail clip solutions-in ensuring high-speed train safety and track stability under demanding operating conditions.

The Panxing HSR demonstrates how advanced railway track components and fastening solutions are essential for modern high-speed rail projects, providing stable track alignment, reducing maintenance, and supporting long-term operational efficiency. With high-quality rail clips and elastic fasteners integrated along the line, trains can safely achieve design speeds while maintaining smooth and reliable service for passengers.
