The vibration generated when the train passed by easily caused the springs to loosen, and some nuts even retreated from the bolts. In addition, the track gauge baffle is easy to climb up the rail bottom under the action of vibration, causing the track gauge to expand. Due to this situation, except for the DTⅠ and DTⅡ fasteners on subway lines, which use elastic pieces as fastening parts, they are no longer used on other rail lines. Use spring-type fasteners.

When working, the elastic strip fastening parts utilize the bending deformation performance of the material and the torsional deformation performance of the material (especially the circular cross-section elastic strip), so the elasticity is generally good, and there is basically no cross-section weakening, so the material utilization rate is high , on conventional lines, it is generally hoped that the fasteners will have high pressure and good elasticity. In this regard, elastic fasteners have obvious advantages.

At present, most of my country's railways and other rail transit use elastic strip-type fastening parts. The main forms of elastic strip fastening parts in my country are: elastic strips with bolt-mounted ω structure, such as Type I and Type II elastic strips commonly used. Clips, Shilongqiao small resistance clips, WJ-2 type clips, etc.; Pandrol type clips without bolt installation, such as Type III clips, DTVI fastener clips, PR type clips for Guangzhou Metro, etc.; and Other structural forms of spring bars, double toe spring bars, middle spring bars.
