How to distinguish different types of spring fasteners
Nov 24, 2023| As a railway accessory, although spring fasteners play a very important role in the entire railway line, they can also be divided into different specifications. Common spring fasteners on the market include type I, type II and type III. Mainly use I-type elastic fasteners.
With the development of high-speed railways, Type II elastic fasteners and Type III elastic fasteners have also been developed. However, no matter what type of spring fastener, the fastener is mainly a spring fastener. Through the bending and deformation of the elastic fastener, fastening pressure is applied to the track, which can ensure long-term reliable connection between the tracks, ensure the integrity of the track, and prevent the track from moving relative to the longitudinal and transverse directions. Sleepers ensure the safe operation of rail vehicles. In order to let users have a better understanding of elastic strip fasteners, the following is an explanation of the difference between type I elastic strip fasteners and type II elastic strip fasteners.
1. Different withholdings. The pressure of type I spring bar is insufficient; the elasticity of type II spring bar fastener is higher than that of type I spring bar fastener.
2. The scope is different. The elastic range of type I spring fasteners is small; the diameter of type II spring fasteners is relatively large, not less than 10mm.
3. The applicable guide rail specifications are different. Type I elastic fasteners are generally used to fix 50kg/m rails; type II elastic fasteners are used to connect 60kg/m rails.
The spring bars work under repeated alternating stress. It has many functions such as bending, torsion, fatigue and corrosion. When the vehicle passes, it is also subjected to high instantaneous impact loads, so the performance of the spring fastener is very strict.
